About Me

My name is Kyra, and I am a church pianist. I teach congregational and classical Piano; I have been teaching since April 2023.  I teach a variety of students, from adults to children ages 4 and up! 

I started my piano-playing journey in 2014, and I had taken a few lessons with a teacher who taught me some of the basics. In 2016, I began taking lessons with a lady from my church using The Complete Church Piano Course and continued that for about a year. In 2017-2018, I stopped lessons and started to teach myself on and off. I took lessons at Linton Milano Music Center from May 9th, 2023, to June 26th, 2024.  I have also taken lessons with a church pianist from January 29th -October 1st, 2024.  

I began playing the Organ in church in 2019, which helped me to progress. In November of 2022, I started playing the Piano for my church, and I have been playing ever since!
